Attestation of Documents

  Following documents/papers are required to be presented:  

  • Current Passport 
  • Photocopies of first page, last page and valid Resident Permit/Visa page
  • Duly filled in Form EAP-II  along with four photos
  • Relevant document/paper supporting the requirements of the PCC
  • Fee: RMB 174.00

  Note: PCC will be issued after receiving clearance from the Regional Passport Office in India

Attestation of Documents 

Documents submitted for attestation to the Consular Section of the Consulate General of India, Shanghai will be given only a ‘Seen in the Consulate’ stamp.

  I.  Educational degrees and certificates     Requirements:  

  • Document to be attested - original and one copy
  • Passport - Current and one copy
  • Fee: RMB 104.00 per document

II.  General Power of Attorney, Affidavits, Marriage Certificate etc.

Requirements:  

  • Document to be attested - original and one copy
  • Passport - Current and one copy
  • Fee: RMB 184.00

Note: For Power of Attorney, the Applicant is required to be present and sign in

III. Trade/Import-Export Documents  

Requirements:

For Attestation of Chinese passport and Commercial documents.

·         Commercial attestation given by the Chinese Company based in Shanghai, Zhejiang & Jiangsu is acceptable.

·         Firstly, Notarization of the Chinese documents at the local notary office.

·         Secondly, Consular Attestation at the local Foreign Affairs Office

·         Finally, commercial attestation to be submitted at the Indian Consulate.

·         Original attested document along with its photocopy.

Fee:

Fee for all trade/commercial documents: RMB 434.00
